The idea of writing this novel
The first time I watched "Want to See You" was in 2020, at my brothers' home in a small county in my hometown. In the first four episodes, I was not too involved in the drama. It was not until later that I was completely led by the plot - moved by the love in it, warmed by the friendship, and even more heartbroken by the Chen Yunru who had never really been seen. I admit that my works are somewhat influenced by this drama. There happens to be a brother like Li Ziwei next to me, and the male protagonist of the novel inevitably has a bit of his shadow, but what I really want to put into the story is Chen Yunru's feelings. In "Want to See You", her love for Li Ziwei should not be ignored. It is a "deformed" obsession to stay with him even if she has to become another person. This is the multi-faceted nature of love. I am a very subjective creator. When writing about Chen Xingze and Xu Nian, I have been thinking about who should carry this "imperfect love". As I write, the image of the male protagonist naturally becomes established. I never thought of shaping him into a perfect person, he should have flaws; the same goes for the female protagonist, who is playful and occasionally breaks her promise to the male protagonist. Many times, they are us in reality, and we are them without the "aura of the protagonist". So I incorporated all of this into the story: I not only wanted to praise Chen Xingze and Xu Nian's stubbornness of "I will be with you no matter what," but also wanted to remind everyone not to be too selfless in love. You can read the novel as a negative teaching material, or you can love as hard as they did - but I prefer you to read it subjectively: think of yourself as Xu Nian or Chen Xingze, regardless of gender, the story in the book at this moment is the story of you and your "him".

I love you, I love you very transparently, like glass
The writing is smooth, the plot is vivid, and the reading is endlessly memorable. Worth a look
It's so beautifully written! ! ! 😍😍😍Love it, love it
Perhaps different choices are being made in each parallel time and space, but what is really important is that in every moment, let go of the obsession with the perfect ending, cherish the possibility of every reunion, and still love bravely in uncertainty.
In reality, our love has ended long ago, but in the world of words, we love each other very much, but we have to return to reality. Words are just regrets in our hearts. There is no way to go on, and there is nothing to accomplish together. Although a person's life is good, there is something missing.
If there is only one person in the universe to love, it would be you, Chen Xingze.
