Addicted to Your Kiss

The Tan family has two daughters with completely different personalities. The older sister is bright and outgoing, a famous star who draws everyone’s attention, while the younger one is quiet and reserved. Whenever people mention the older sister, they instinctively think of the heir apparent, Rong Lichen. They grew up together, are a perfect match in looks and talent, and come from equally prominent families. On top of that, their families have been close for generations, so nearly everyone in their circle assumes the two will end up together. But no one knows that the heir apparent and the shy younger sister once had a sordid relationship that could never see the light of day. * Rong Lichen first met Tan Mujin at his own home. The moment she saw him, she was so frightened she burst into tears. Her bright, ink-black eyes were red and swollen from crying. The second time they met was at Tan Mujin’s coming-of-age party. The girl wore a pale pink dress and looked like a doll. When she saw him, she didn’t cry, but she was still afraid of him. In a timid voice, she called him, “Brother Lichen.” The girl boldly looped her arms around his neck, wrapped herself around his waist, and kissed him. The next morning, the girl who had always been afraid of him sat on the bed, blushing. She said it felt wonderful, took his hand, and asked if he wanted to try that kind of relationship. He said, “All right.” * Tan Mujin had always been well-behaved, the good girl everyone praised. The only time she ever rebelled was when she became attracted to the older boy who had scared her into tears as a child, and started a secret affair with him. But as time went on, she realized he was a complete madman. Knowing no one would find out, he took advantage of her more and more. Feeling utterly wronged, she thought it over and decided to put an end to their twisted relationship. The madman became normal again, and her world grew quiet too.
