Night Stories of the Republic of China

China's modern history is a scar on our motherland! This was a period of humiliation by foreign powers and broken mountains and rivers. The disastrous defeat of the Sino-Japanese War and the humiliation of the Treaty of Shimonoseki. The iron hooves of the great powers came one after another, and the land of China groaned heavily under the ravages of power. This was a period of government decay and institutional collapse. The old order that once maintained the operation of the empire is falling apart in the stormy waves of the times. This was a time when people were in dire straits and faced great suffering. The city developed abnormally in the cracks of the colonial economy, and the national industry struggled. The entire society is struggling in the quagmire of the end of the imperial system, and people's livelihood is extremely difficult, reaching an unprecedented level. My grandfather was born in this era. He is a small person of this era, an experiencer of this era, and the creator of this era. There are no turbulent revolutions or deeds in the book, only some memories of that era. Grandpa has passed away and now I am writing these stories.
