Demon Tribunal: An Unfulfilled Promise

This is an unofficial alternate-timeline story for the game Witch's Judgment of the Magical Girls. It contains no original characters. This book is also known as Meruru's Search for Her Family (struck through). As the final judgment approached, the Great Witch Tsukishiro Yuki chose to take her own life to save the girls. Meruru Hikami was willing to join the Great Witch and meet her in death. At the very end, Tsukishiro Yuki's cool, moving voice rang in Meruru's ears: "This is all my fault. Meruru, you have to live well." When she awoke again, Meruru found herself back before it had all begun. There was still time to make things right. After the Great Witch abandoned her plan to turn all of humanity into witches and chose to take her own life, the empty, lonely smile on her face filled Meruru with heartache. The Great Witch had wanted so badly to live alongside Emma Shiro and fulfill the promise they had never managed to keep. Meruru Hikami had made up her mind. Even if she had to go through hundreds or thousands of cycles, she would fulfill Tsukishiro Yuki's dearest wish. She wanted so badly to see the Great Witch smile again... To be praised by the Great Witch one more time... To spend a long life by the Great Witch's side... Witches have one thing in abundance: time and patience. This time, Meruru Hikami would not fail again.
