This Necromancer Is Far Too Cautious About Practicing Medicine

Li De, revered by the world as the “Hand of Sacred Healing,” once said, “A good doctor isn’t necessarily a necromancer, but a good necromancer is definitely the best doctor.” Li De transmigrated to a world of swords and magic, where he became a necromancer. But there seemed to be something wrong with his profession template. Could he really only earn rewards by saving lives and healing the injured? The good news: when it came to understanding the human body, necromancers were experts, perfectly qualified to be “surgeons.” The bad news: in this world, necromancers were like rats in the street, hated by everyone. Even dogs wanted to take a bite out of them... So Li De had no choice but to hide his identity and travel the world as a wandering doctor, treating patients with care and quietly healing everyone who came to him. He used the brutal [Blood Clotting Art] to stop his patients’ bleeding. He treated the sinister [Corpse Servant Pact] as an unconventional “resurrection spell.” He turned the wicked [Raise Bones as Servants] into a unique technique for setting bones and reattaching limbs. Gradually, no one knew why ghouls were becoming more and more common. No one knew why so many people with stiff limbs and pale faces had appeared in the world, either. Yet, quite remarkably, all of them had once been on the brink of death and had met a “strange” young doctor... Years later, in a tavern: “Have you noticed that the Hand of Sacred Healing and the Skeletal Emperor never seem to appear at the same time? Could it be that...” “What could it be? Are you saying that the kindhearted legendary healing mage and that damned necromancer, the Skeletal Emperor, are the same person?” “All right, I must be drunk to come up with such a ridiculous idea...” The two exchanged a smile and went back to their drinks.
