Embers of the Deep: I, the Old Therapist

I was a psychiatrist, and now, my patients were a little bit special. They sleepwalk in the deep sea, their skin grows scales, and their ears echo with songs from the stars. Colleagues called this a "curse" or "oracle," and they all fell into madness. But I'm different. In my [pathological dialysis] eyes, this is just a disease. Deep sea sleepwalking is "cosmic hysteria", scales are "tissue distortion caused by pheromones", and the so-called whispers of the ancient gods are just "mental pollution waves of a specific frequency". Treatment? Very simple.
