Cross-Border Era

The rapid advancement of science and technology will one day break through the ethical boundaries of human civilization. The title of the book was originally intended to use the word "cross-border", but it was used by predecessors. I just added "Era", "Crossover Era" always feels weird. The story is set in the technological apocalypse of 3000 AD. Quantum computers give robots basic consciousness, and gene editing technology reshapes the boundaries of humankind. Gene-edited humans, robots, and humans form a subtle tripartite pattern. Under the surface of peace, there is a life-and-death game hidden underneath. Wang Shan, a gene-editing genius, has the inheritance of trillions of assets but longs for the ordinary. After joining a secret organization at the university, her fate is unexpectedly bound to her cyborg siblings Zhai Yi and Zhai Yimei. Wang Shan's ultimate talent for hand-drawing precise graphics, Zhai Yi's martial arts attainments in "aesthetics of violence", and Zhai E's computer talent for controlling global systems all point to an experiment with a hidden conspiracy. When the robot breaks through the shackles of consciousness and triggers a human-machine war, the villain Gu Ye's crazy plan to "restart humanity" comes to light, and the conflict between the three parties completely breaks out. After Wang Shan's life experience was revealed, she developed a super carbon-based computer based on her own genes; Zhai E controlled the system to fight against the machine army; Principal Gu Jian's hidden protection plan gradually unfolded. In the final showdown, Wang Shan merged technology with life to reveal the core truth that "the destination of silicon-based is carbon-based, and human beings are strong because of imperfection", and wrote an apocalyptic story about technological ethics, human nature and fateful choices.
