Apocalypse Horror: A Full-Time Mom and the Zombie Crisis

After an ancient virus breaks out, the world of stay-at-home mom Lin Wan collapses completely. The infected have pitch-black eyes and deathly pale faces, crave human flesh, and make a “clack-clack” sound at night as they track their prey. She is trapped in her tenth-floor apartment with only her young baby, Lele, and her long-haired cat, 66.

Supplies run out, and despair sets in. Her husband, Chen Mo, is stranded outside the city. His last text, “Whatever you do, don’t open the door... They know where we live...,” is her only warning. Alone and without help, she knows any sound could bring disaster down upon them.

When the baby's laughter unexpectedly cuts through the silence, and loyal 66 lets out a threatening growl at the crack beneath the door, her deepest fear comes true: outside, a key turns as it slides into the lock.

Trust and instinct clash in that moment. Lin Wan must choose between everything familiar and the young child she has to protect. In the darkest depths, she fights to carve out a glimmer of hope for survival. This is a story of how a mother's love becomes the last line of defense in the hell of the apocalypse.
