Journey to the West: This Extra’s Vibe Is All Wrong

The Heavenly Court and Spirit Mountain join forces to produce a Journey to the West reality show. The trials are all scripted, and the gods and Buddhas of the Three Realms are just actors. Everything goes according to plan at first. That is, until Qingfeng, a low-paid extra, makes his debut. He helps the White Bone Spirit hone her acting skills, sets Red Boy some KPIs, and introduces a 996-style work schedule at Lion Camel Ridge... Guanyin counts on her fingers and realizes something is wrong: This part isn't in the script! The Jade Emperor calls an emergency meeting: Investigate this at once! Who exactly is this extra who bought his way onto the set? Meanwhile, the real mastermind stares pensively at the “Creation Jade Disc (Imitation)” in the System Shop.
