Catching Foxes

Su Nianchu, a former economic crimes investigator, lands an internship as a reporter for an entertainment tabloid. Her first assignment is to go undercover in the family of female star Xun Xue and investigate the disappearance of a wealthy family's maid. In reality, both she and the newspaper's owner have hidden motives and plans of their own. Everything goes smoothly at first. Su Nianchu thinks she'll need just a week to find what she's looking for and make her escape. But at their first meeting, her boss is thrown from an upper floor. An orphan whose parents were both martyrs and a female hawk from the economic crimes unit, Su Nianchu is only more determined now. She decides to stay in the thick of things and uncover the truth. But the deeper she digs, the more complicated everything seems to get. And how does it end up having something to do with her? As time reveals the truth, the person who seemed least likely turns out to be the culprit!
