Textbook Side Story

☆☆I am asleep. ☆☆In this study room filled with the fragrance of ink and time, I have been sleeping for too long. The years have covered me with a layer of invisible dust, which is the boredom and forgetfulness brought about by exam-oriented education. My spiritual power, which comes from the emotional nourishment of sincere understanding and love of ancient articles, has become weak during the long period of rote memorization and test points, like a candle in the wind. ☆☆My main body, "Guwen Guanzhi", stands in the most conspicuous position on the bookshelf, next to "Twenty-Four Histories", "Cihai" and various textbooks and teaching aids. I know that, like me, most of the literary and spiritual companions inside are also in silence. We were once the guardians of the spark of civilization and the embodiment of knowledge in the spiritual dimension, but now we have fallen into a deep sleep due to the lack of "joy of understanding" and "wonder of application". ☆☆What wakes me up is not the morning bells and evening drums, nor the sound of students reading loudly, but an anxious and deep love.
