Ballads and Songs

Balladers create the final song of the era; singers sing the lingering sound of the soul. Behind every ballad or song is a quiet river belonging to human beings. When the souls sleep underground, are there still people who stand up, build a city with their bodies, and speak for those who have been silenced with fearless courage? I don't know who the victory saved. I only know that from then on, strife will arise again and I will die alone. "You are getting old, young man." The wizened laughter stopped abruptly.
