Immortal Through Greatness

The ancient Immortal Clan stood ten times taller than ordinary people and wielded immense powers. They were known as the Great Immortals. Even after death, their bodies did not decay; they could merge with their descendants, and were called immortal shells.

Humans are the most intelligent of all living things, so the human race cultivates fastest. But a tiger demon devised a method of eating humans to refine them into ghost slaves, consuming all of their cultivation. It could take on their appearance, use their techniques, and control their souls.

From then on, the balance of power shifted and the Heavenly Dao was overturned. The Immortal Clan was defeated, and countless humans became cultivation resources for the demon race.

Shi Yun transmigrates to this world and is born in the demon realm, where humans are kept in captivity. His parents have become ghost slaves, trying to lure him into the demons' jaws.

By a stroke of luck, Shi Yun borrows the power of the village's immortal shell and manages to survive, but one crisis follows another.

To avenge his parents, save humanity, and restore the Heavenly Dao, he embarks on the path of cultivation.
