2149 AD, future Tokyo. This is a super city maintained by energy towers and data networks. The upper level belongs to enterprises and power, the middle level is a maze of neon lights and virtual advertisements, and the lower level is forgotten in the shadows. Humans coexist with prosthetics and replicants, but the boundaries have long been blurred. Rinji - once a corporate engineer, now becomes an underground hacker, his identity has been wiped out, and he can only survive in the black market and ruins. During a rainy night pursuit, their fates were intertwined.
