In the Late Tang Dynasty, Two Heroes Determined the World

Set against the backdrop of the troubled times of the late Tang Dynasty, it focuses on the growth and perseverance of young Lin Zhao and orphan Su Ning. In the seventh year of Tianfu's reign, Bianliang City was destroyed. Lin Zhao witnessed his parents' sacrifices to protect their country and fled with his younger sister Lin Yue. On the way, he met Su Ning, whose parents both died and was an outstanding archer. The two traveled together because of their shared suffering and desire for peace. They experienced dangers in the wilderness, ruined temples and determination, and unexpected changes when seeking relatives, and finally joined the army of King Li Keyong of Jin Dynasty and started their military career. From the defense of the city in Zhaozhou and the separation of Fenhe, to the reunion in the military camp and the friendship before the battle, to the spy encounter in Shenzhou and the bloody battle in Yunzhou, the two always fought side by side. Lin Zhao grew from a scout to a leader with his wisdom and courage, and Su Ning became the core of the crossbow camp with her superb archery skills. She also made outstanding achievements in the Battle of Baixiang and the rescue of orphans in Cangzhou. Although there were twists and turns during this period such as Liu's disruption, Liang Jun's estrangement, and Li Cunxu's rebellion, he never changed his original intention. In the end, the two assisted the new emperor in quelling the rebellion in the feudal town, repelling the Khitan invasion, and helped the Later Tang Dynasty achieve unification of the world. The work uses the love between Lin Zhao and Su Ning as a thread to connect the suffering and struggle of the people in troubled times. It not only shows the heroic spirit of the battlefield, but also conveys the belief of "working together to protect peace", and composes a hymn to heroes in the troubled times of the late Tang Dynasty.
