The Best of Entertainment and Period Dramas (Updated July 14, 2026)
A list of entertainment novels I'm following. If you like this genre, give them a try. I often check the rankings. This genre is relatively easy for new authors to write, but competition is fierce too. I update regularly, so keep an eye on changes to the list's title.
Chinese Entertainment, Mainly Post-95 Actresses
The post-95 generation of actresses is finally making waves. Mostly post-95 actresses.
Chinese Entertainment: Young Actresses
All the little flower novels are here. Readers are welcome to fill in any missing ones. I'll add more over time, since there's a daily limit on how many books I can add to a list. Come back in a while and browse. I'll write a few thoughts about the ones I've read, and rank them from awesome to awful: Awesome, top-tier, above the rest, NPC, absolutely awful. You're welcome to leave your thoughts too. Thanks!
Books Featuring Liu Haochun (Liu Haocun) as the Female Lead
Cun Cun, Cha Mei, Liu Haocun. If you know of any other books featuring little Haocun, please recommend them so I can add them to this list.
Chinese Entertainment Fiction About Post-95 Actresses
I like Chinese entertainment-industry novels, but I'm tired of seeing so many older actresses, especially those represented by the Eighty-Five Flowers. This list is for books about younger actresses. There are still too few novels about the Ninety-Five Flowers. The list is capped at 50 books, and once it's full, I'll gradually remove the ones with terrible prose or plots. For now, I need to fill it up so it can be featured in the book-list plaza.
95-Favorite Books
This is entirely subjective. If you like Liu or the post-1985 actresses, head on over to another list. The quality of Xiaohua stories on Qidian is all over the place. Some are classic works by veteran authors in the conquest-everyone style, while others are reformist works by new authors. Either way, you have to be cautious with Xiaohua stories. You never know when they'll get dropped. From what I've seen, Tian and Liu are the most popular. If you want to make a splash, you need one of those two

I would like to make a suggestion, don't write about vague little flowers. If the author wants to pretend that I didn't say it, like the last book about Hu, I have really never heard of this person. You said Zhou Ye, Meng Ziyi, Liu Haocun, etc. I have at least heard of them, and I have read them many times.
How can I put it this way? The male protagonist is impersonal.
Zhang Ruonan, Wang Churan, Tian Xiwei, Chen Duling, Cheng Xiao, Yang Chaoyue, Jiang Peiyao, Chen Yao, Meng Ziyi, Zhou Ye
In the last three chapters, the male protagonist's mentality has changed, which is good. The first two chapters of the fight are not scheduled. I have read a lot of short stories, and in them the heroine fights a lot, but she is measured and doesn't do anything, and the swearing words are not too direct. The hero doesn't lick the heroine, but he treats the heroine as a human being. Although the male protagonist here is a Tianlong, he is a bit inappropriate. He is almost indifferent to outsiders, but he is blindly high-pressure towards his own women and intends to keep them by his side. This will only make their characters homogeneous, almost like assembly line products, which is not interesting anymore. The uniqueness of each person's character is the most interesting. Water can carry a boat, but it can also overturn it. Having said so much, I just express my feelings and hope that the author will get better and better in the future.
I also want Xiao Hu. The Xiao Hu in this book is so good.
The three little flowers, tea, 🚢and little white tiger, are all very beautiful.
I kind of understand why the superiors prefer people like Wang.
After reading more than 300 chapters of this book, except for Cunzi and Wang, I have no impression of the other female protagonists. Wang's character looks extremely annoying to outsiders. He has a bad temper, rolls his eyes at every turn, has no emotional intelligence, and actively relies on his body to gain power. But from the perspective of the protagonist, in addition to Wang's body and face being to his liking, every bit of pampering on her body proves her ability (or power), so even if she doesn't cause trouble for me every day, in action, she prefers such a canary more and more.
Liu Haocun's family has money, but they just won't compensate the little girl
Write Lu Yuxiao on it, and it will look pure and lustful when entering Qingyun.
Do men also encounter unspoken rules? I just watched Chen Xiao's live broadcast on a hot search and sighed several times. It seems that there are some male bosses in the industry who know the unspoken rules about men. Many of them are depressed because they are too handsome and reject them...
