The Other Man, With an Unshakable Background

Qi Xiu is dumped on an island in the Pacific and given an absurd mission: defend the archipelago, or face punishment for every bit of territory he loses.

This is the heart of the Pacific theater during World War II. Doesn't that sound ridiculous?

With too few people and two military superpowers on either side, how is he supposed to survive?

Who gave you the nerve? Are you trying to get yourself killed?

But his backstory is extraordinary. It even involves some absurd organization called the Galactic Administration Bureau.
