Controlling the variable method, you will find that the biggest difference between Tang San in Dou Yi and Dou Ersan is the time of integration with the Asura God. Tang San's performance in subsequent works seems to confirm my suspicion, because most of the time he shows himself as Poseidon, claiming to be Poseidon to the outside world, and mainly cultivates Poseidon Trident. When he can't beat him, he starts to attack the Shura God.
