Slay the Japanese Invaders

The official historian recorded that in the second year of the Jiajing reign of the Great Ming, the court failed to eradicate the eunuch menace. An orphan entered the capital and killed his parents; a loyal minister seized power in the court and used it to deceive the emperor; and a common man took up his blade in the southeast to kill the Japanese pirates. There are a few flaws in that account. First, this common man of yours did more than kill pirates in the southeast. Second, this general is the loyal minister of the Great Ming. And lastly, let me make this clear once more: Zhu Houcong, the Great Ming’s Longevity Emperor, was not an orphan. He had a father. In this world of fifty years, I shall hold the court in check, distinguish the upright from the corrupt, wield my long sword, and strike down treacherous ministers who deceive and defy the emperor. I shall slaughter every wicked slave who brings misery to the people!
