The Bloody Story of Siyang Fangzun

In 1938, the Siyang Fangzun was unearthed in Ningxiang, Hunan. Wan Xiaoming, deputy director of the Changsha Station of the Kuomintang Military Command, foiled the plot of the Japanese spies and seized the Siyang Fangzun from an antique dealer and temporarily stored it in the bank of Hunan Bank. The notorious thief Xue Wuhen stole the national treasure. Japanese spy Lieutenant Aichuan led a detachment to track Siyang Fangzun, and military commander Wan Xiaoming was ordered to detect the case. This is the beginning of the bloody legend of the national treasure. "The Bloody Story of Siyang Fangzun" uses Siyang Fangzun as its eyes to penetrate the fog of history and reveal that the cultural war is the deepest battlefield of the Anti-Japanese War. The national treasure is engraved with the piety of the ancestors of the Shang Dynasty to "respect heaven and the ancestors"; witnessed the brutal plundering of Chinese cultural relics by Japanese bandits in an attempt to destroy the foundation of Chinese civilization and disintegrate the spirit of the Chinese nation; witnessed the atrocities of the "battle for the survival of civilization". The national spirit of unity, going forward and not being afraid of sacrifice, as "the land does not distinguish between north and south, and people regardless of age"; demonstrates the logic of resistance of Chinese civilization in its darkest moments - artifacts can be destroyed, patterns are immortal, bodies can be destroyed, and cultural heritage is eternal. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, we pay tribute to those ordinary people who used their lives to protect the fire of civilization.
