Undercover in the Buddhist Sect, Part-Time Saint Heir

“Do you love Buddha, or do you love gold?” The dynasty neared its end, and warlords rose on every side. The Southern Alliance declared itself independent in the south. In the north, warlords each commanded powerful armies and refused to yield, while the great sects carved up territories and established their own states. Beyond the Donghua Continent, the nations of the Western Lands poured in with vast sums of money and modern firearms, secretly backing different factions in exchange for mineral resources, ports, and passage rights. In the mountains and wilds, evil spirits that had lain dormant for centuries began to stir. Amid this turbulent age, Fang Ke proudly graduated as an outstanding member of the sixth class of Zhenxie Institute of Technology, whose guiding principle was “Dispel delusion, seek truth, stand firm, and protect the people.” His first assignment was to go undercover at the foot of Spirit Mountain in the southwest. But from the moment he stepped into the Buddha Kingdom, everything went completely off the rails “I told you to transport a batch of sariras to the Western Continent! You keep saying there’s a tribulation or divine punishment. You’ve been hauling them for two months, man! Do you think you’re going to the Western Paradise? Are you messing with me?” “Brother, things going wrong is pretty common. That’s just how we Buddhists do things.” “I can negotiate too! I can love Buddha too!” “I work for Maitreya. Whoever opposes me, I’ll send to the afterlife!” “Lots of bodhisattvas have given their approval. They’ve chosen me as the next Buddha!” “Jin Chan, give me your full support in becoming Buddha this term, and I’ll give you my full support next term!” “Then we’ll both be Buddha! You’re Buddha, and I’m Buddha too!” “We lost! We’re not handing over the sariras or the lotus throne. We’re handing over nothing!” “Don’t help me! Nobody help! I’ll do it myself: the New Thunderclap Temple!” “Ten days! We’ll take Spirit Mountain in ten days!”
