They all have their own agendas and are by no means good disciples. Shang Gewan knew in his heart that this was just another plan by the organization to delay his departure or even kill someone with a knife. However, when the killing began and the blood type codes lit up one by one, he realized that the five-blood killing was not the end, but actually the final data collection stage of a grand experiment in the hive. He and the newcomer were never the killer and the apprentice, but the control group samples with adjacent numbers on the experimental table. All their actions and pain are merely cold bytes in a stream of data. Therefore, he decided to implement the final veto. He faked his death and escaped, hiding in the darkness, turning the five bloody lists into leads, burying them into the foundation of the "Hive" empire, and guiding the five out-of-control knives to point to their common creator. This is not revenge, but the falsification of the proposition of one's own existence; it is not resistance to fate, but rejection of the logical premise for the establishment of fate.
