My Spirit Herbs Are Desperate to Improve

Gu Yun follows the third young lady of the Tianshui Family into the Dao Sect, where he becomes a menial disciple who grows spirit herbs.

He thought he would spend the rest of his life tending fields in peace, but then...

[Bind a cultivation art to a spirit herb to help it grow and cultivate a special variety.]

On his very first day, Gu Yun is set up by a conniving senior brother, and is given a spirit herb that is notoriously difficult to grow.

[You can bind the Qi-Attracting Art to it to help it grow.]

A few days later, when that conniving senior brother returns to check on it, he sees...

“Junior Brother, what kind of demonic method did you use?”

From then on, Gu Yun sets out on a strange path of farming.

He binds body-tempering techniques to spirit herbs...

“Junior Brother, why has your spirit herb grown muscles? But eating it replenishes my vital energy and blood!”

“Senior Brother, am I seeing things? Did your spirit herb just cast a rain spell on its own?”

“Fellow Daoist, why is your spirit herb bigger than a tree? And it just slapped that demonic sect spy to death!”

Years later, Gu Yun looks back on it all from above the Immortal Realm and slowly shakes his head.

“My spirit herbs are all scrambling to practice cultivation arts. They’re just too eager to improve.”
