At three in the morning, emergency physician Su Qingyan keeps crossing paths with Lu Shiyan, a mysterious patient who claims to be “already dead.” This officer, who “died” in an anti-drug operation three years ago, now heals stray cats with bandages and uses old photographs to awaken her buried memories: the rescue during a university lab fire, the fatal coincidence with a truck on a rainy night, contradictory medication records in his chart, and an unsent text on his phone that reads “Target anomaly.” All of it is tearing at Su Qingyan’s understanding of reality.
