Stand Up and Salute Professor Grindelwald!

Because of Harry’s carelessness, the Philosopher’s Stone fell into Voldemort’s hands.

In just two short months, the entire British wizarding world was plunged into its darkest hour yet.

Amid the chaos, one man stepped forward.

“Friends across Europe, I’m sure you’ve recognized me by now.”

“Gilderoy Lockhart, also known to some as Gellert Grindelwald, the criminal from half a century ago.”

“Draw your wands and kill your former leader!”

Looking around at the utterly silent battlefield, Grindelwald raised his wand.

“Since none of you are willing to attack me, then follow me and charge Voldemort and Dumbledore!”

“For the greater good, let us declare war on the world!”

From then on, a famous saying appeared at the entrances to Hogwarts and Durmstrang:

If you want wealth and advancement, go elsewhere. If you fear death, don’t enter these gates.

(P.S. This is an alternate-timeline version. Readers who don’t know Grindelwald or haven’t read the original books or watched Fantastic Beasts can enjoy it too.)
