Douluo Dalu: I Am Zhang Jiao. Tang San, the Divine King, Prepare to Die

As soon as the ten-year truce ended, the Heaven Dou Empire declared war on the Star Luo Empire, with the tacit approval of God King Tang San.

War erupted, and the people suffered.

Evil Soul Masters ran rampant, killing people in broad daylight...

Without Spirit Hall, ordinary people had no chance to awaken their Martial Souls. They had become playthings for others to control at will...

The culprit behind it all, the “Great God King” Tang San, simply walked away, leaving ruin in his wake.

Through the System, the protagonist Zhang Jue gains the god-tier Martial Soul of the Great Teacher of the Way, Zhang Jiao. Every time his soul power rises by ten levels, he automatically gains the corresponding Soul Ring. The path to godhood lies before him.

But should he really become Tang San’s underling, a parasite in this rotting world?

After only a moment, Zhang Jue slams his hand on the table and rises.

“When people get sick, they need medicine. But when the world gets sick, it needs to eat people.”

“If this world is sick, then I’ll be the one to cure it.”

“This humble Taoist, Zhang Jiao, hereby calls upon God King Tang San to die!”

Rising from humble beginnings, Zhang Jue shelters countless millions and ultimately cuts Tang San down with his blade.
