Yan Chi, a talented but sensitive photographer, was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer when his career was on the rise. The disaster destroyed her body and pushed her marriage with her husband into the abyss. The pain of treatment, physical mutilation and fear of death made Yan Chi feel completely separated from her female identity and desires.
