I’m a Taoist Priest at the Church

Chen Erdong, a Taoist priest, transmigrated to another world and became a priest at a church. He also awakened a Taoist System. As long as he [exorcised demons and vanquished evil], known here as driving out evil spirits and demons, he would receive all kinds of rewards. But this was a church-run world where divine authority reigned supreme and the Church of the One God held power. Any other religion, if discovered, would be branded heretical and sent to the stake, much like Muhammad's overbearing approach to preaching, “a sword in one hand and the Quran in the other.” Not wanting to spend the rest of his life under the constant shadow of being burned at the stake, Rhine made a difficult decision. He would climb, step by step, all the way to the top and become the Pope! And so Rhine planned to keep a low profile at the church, driving out evil spirits and demons for rewards while building up his merits. [Ding-dong! Congratulations, you killed a female wraith and vanquished evil once. Please choose one of the following rewards.] [One: Magical Treasure: One Peachwood Flying Sword.] [Two: Taoist Art: Thunderbolt from the Palm.] [Three: Elixir: Qi Refining Pill.] [Congratulations! Choose one of the following three options.] [One: Talisman: Deity-Summoning Art.] [Two: Taoist Art: Immobilizing Curse.] [Three: Magical Treasure: Pine-Grain Alchemy Furnace.]
