You Went Undercover in the Abyss, So How Did You Become a Demon God?

[Three years, then three more. The demons are practically part of my family now!]

Ren Xiaoyao, human spy No. 007, was ordered to infiltrate the Abyss and gather intelligence on the demons’ weaknesses.

His mission was to pave the way for the “Three-Year Counterattack Plan.”

But while he diligently recorded jokes from demon nobles trying to seem cultured and analyzed the Abyss’s tomato-growing techniques, the human coalition still hadn’t arrived.

It wasn’t until one day, when he saw demonic horns blazing atop his head in a magic mirror, that he realized he had become one of the 81 great demons of the Demon Realm!

First year undercover.

“Hey, Chief, when are you coming back to attack? I’m about to become a live-in son-in-law of the demons!”

Third year undercover.

“Where’s the human army? I’ve awakened my great demon bloodline, and you still haven’t shown up?”

Five years after going undercover.

“What do you mean, undercover? I’m about to ascend the throne and become the Demon King!”
