1888: Memoirs of an Unconfirmed Creature Hunter

The pace is so tight that one event follows another with no breathing space. It was very tiring to watch, and the transitional chapter in the middle was only half a chapter. The protagonist returned home and before he could even sit down, new events came to his door. The last book that made me feel so nervous was called "The Mysterious Earth Sea"

The writing is still up to par. I don't know which old guy was reincarnated and re-edited it, but at least it's better than 90% of the original writing. But the first problem: the pace is too fast. Breathlessness and lack of lubrication between one copy and the next. Second question: There are deus ex machina. Like the music box taken out of the sewer. The third question: It is best to write less pretentious plots. I believe that those who read this book are basically looking for the theme and world view. When I saw this book, the first thing I thought of was True Detective's Monster Mystery. Your focus should be on the various strange and bizarre UMAs and the corresponding dangerous adventures, instead of using a large part of your words to straightforwardly describe other people's shock and appreciation. These are the issues I'm looking at right now. Polish them carefully and don't be anxious. Once you write this book, you'll make a lot of money.

This is a very typical kind of book that would feel good if you keep reading it. But once it's broken, it's hard to pick it up again even for a day. On the surface, it seems to be well-written, but in fact, the plot is old-fashioned and has no new ideas. It can only be replaced by embroidered pillows filled with words and text.

The storyline is well designed. The only problem is that the protagonist's IQ and logical thinking ability are basically at the level of ordinary people. Dealing with monsters is a crushing game. When communicating with other people in the organization and human villains, the other party feels a sense of forced intelligence. This is not something that can be caused or explained by the so-called "travel knowledge gap". After the exchange, there is often a long description of others' appreciation/recognition/admiration for the protagonist, which feels very embarrassing.

I couldn't stand it after watching a few pictures. I didn't understand the plot setting. The author's writing is very good. To be honest, the writing is good. However, the logic and plot advancement made me confused. The protagonist encountered a monster in the sea and led the crew to defeat it. Let's not talk about it. The protagonist got notes and guns, but there were so many corpses that he didn't touch. Forget it, the protagonist went ashore to change money and was chased for no apparent reason. The protagonist with a gun was chased by someone with a knife. Then when he was chased, he had no place to live, no food to eat, and he was still in rags and rags while tracking the murder case... I don't understand how the plot progressed like this. I... Oh, forget it.

The smell of AI is very strong. Regardless of whether it is written in AI or not, if you change it, it doesn't look like it was written by a living person.

Very good! It's a book about uma, mythical creatures, and creatures from folklore! We are saved! To express the excitement of seeing this rare subject at the starting point, here is a brief inventory of the uma that the male protagonist of this article has come into contact with: 1. The Deep Sea Mistress Appearance: Humanoid uma, with a pale body, a smooth face without facial features, autoluminous red tissue around the eyes, no lung structure, and no legs on the lower body, replaced by long black hair like seaweed and moist and slimy tentacles. Characteristics: In a state of eternal hunger, abhorring living creatures, suspected to be composed of sea water and darkness Special abilities: influencing the mind, exerting supernatural fear, sound can stop ships, possessing metaphysical supernatural perception ability Weakness: Fear Fear of light and heat, aversion to violent and chaotic natural environment Haunting time period: the sea at full moon night Haunting location: ocean Description: A social creature that lives in the deep sea under 10,000 meters. It will actively build pale lairs and is highly aggressive. Source speculation: It is suspected to be a combination of the characteristics of sirens, mermaids, deep divers in Greek mythology and various deep-sea uma 2. Fog Walker (Jack the Ripper) Appearance: humanoid uma, appearing as a slender figure wearing a long windbreaker and a top hat. The body proportions are extremely uncoordinated, the limbs are slender and reversely curved, and the bone spurs at the ends have an obsidian luster. There is a blurry, distorted face on the back of the head that seems to be smiling. Characteristics: High speed, cautious personality, smell of sulfur, derives pleasure from killing, possesses learning ability and extremely high intelligence, reduces light brightness and temperature when acting Special abilities: Ability to deceive light, blend into shadows, transform into two-dimensional form, use negative energy Perform mental shock Weakness: Reflection of light and mirror Haunting time period: Night Haunting location: London Description: A solitary creature, essentially an activated shadow, with strong intelligence and learning ability, and good at ambush-style sneak attacks. Source speculation: The legend of Jack the Ripper may have elements of urban legend ghosts such as the Slender Ghost 3. Gremlin Appearance: Ape-like uma, with dull iron-grey fur, slender limbs, and mechanical claws made of brass-like, part-like tiny joints growing at the end. The face is inlaid with lens-like crystals. Characteristics: Facial crystals emit "buzzing" sounds of different frequencies that are suspected of communicating. They move extremely fast, have sensitive vision and hearing, and are good at sneaking. They are strongly obsessed with human mechanical creations and make a living by absorbing the ether fluctuations when machinery is running Special abilities: Destroying the etheric field of precision instruments to cause scrapping, the effect is enhanced when angry, and creating mechanical ghosts Weakness: Aversion to pure and strong firelight, as well as stable and harmonious order Haunting time period: Night Haunting location: Industrial city underground facilities such as urban sewers and abandoned mines Description: Social semi-mechanical creatures, originating from the Black Forest area in the early industrial revolution, will instinctively steal industrial parts and raw materials to build giant mechanical shrines deep underground. Source speculation: Gremlin comes from real-life folklore and was born in the 20th century. It is said that Gremlin was invented by members of the Royal Navy Air Force during World War I. Described in writings from the 1940s as "an imaginary dwarf-like creature that causes damage to aircraft", they were believed to inhabit factories and were classic mischievous sprites. 4. Loch Ness Monster Appearance: Unmeasurable dragon-shaped uma, whose body is composed of energy and translucent material. The whole body emits blue light, with an uncertain outline and water-like changes, and countless light spots flash and move on the surface. The head is made of starlight, specifically a Western dragon-like image without facial features. Characteristics: Immune to pure physical attacks Special abilities: Unconsciously assimilate approaching mortal consciousness, summon mist, release spiritual force field, control water flow Haunting time period: period of industrialization intrusion Haunting location: Loch Ness Description : A legendary primitive dragon species with a gentle temperament, protecting well-intentioned people and driving away intruders, existing as the patron saint of Loch Ness Source speculation: A well-known Uma in reality, similar to other so-called lake monsters in Scotland and elsewhere, although its description varies from record to record. Evidence of its existence is lacking, with only minimal and controversial photographic material and sonar readings. The most common speculation is that it represents a long-lived plesiosaur. The scientific community considers the Loch Ness Monster a modern myth and explains sightings to include misidentification of more mundane objects, outright hoaxes and wishful thinking.

The first disadvantage is that the dry rack is too compact. The second is that the protagonist is too weak. This does not mean that you have to follow the upgrade process and do everything by yourself. The second is that the protagonist needs to grow and change. After so many events, he is still powerless.

This book has so many great qualities. It doesn't feel like the author's first book at all. But as the title suggests, this book is too gentle. The colleagues and passers-by in the book are too friendly. It seems that people here don't have selfish nature. All the benefits fall into the hands of the protagonist just right and naturally. And there is no discrimination. In this era, it is quite difficult for a Z person to be the protagonist. Moreover, if this world map were to be expanded to country Z, it would still be difficult to write and deal with that turbulent era. The dark 19th century and the decadent Qing government. Our country has been opened with cannons, but the protagonist is proud of himself for becoming a master step by step. I'm not saying it's not possible, but the contrast between the background of this era and the protagonist's status makes me very involved.

Brother, you were deviating from the Indian Ocean to the Suez Canal for more than ten days. With a storm, you arrived in London🙂
