Douluo Dalu: Supreme Demon Venerable, Martial Soul of the World-Ending Black Dragon

Tang Chen is the son of Tang Xiao, the current sect master of the Clear Sky Sect.

On the day of his Martial Soul Awakening, his Innate Full Soul Power shakes the world.

Yet no matter how hard Tang Chen struggles or what means the Clear Sky Sect employs, his Martial Soul never manifests. Even the Clear Sky Sect's world-renowned Clear Sky Hammer is nowhere to be seen.

Believing in the principle of maximizing the value of a good-for-nothing, the Clear Sky Sect uses Tang Chen as a political marriage pawn and makes him Ning Rongrong's live-in son-in-law.

Six years pass, and Tang Chen is still a good-for-nothing.

The day Ning Rongrong returns from Shrek Academy, the peace is shattered.

Ning Rongrong's personal maid arrives with a swollen belly and, in front of Ning Rongrong, Ning Fengzhi, Chen Xin, and Gu Rong, declares that the child she is carrying belongs to Tang Chen.

She tearfully claims that on countless nights in the past, Tang Chen made her cosplay as Ning Rongrong and abused her.

Ning Rongrong: “Brother Tang Chen, I was wrong about you. You actually wanted to do that sort of thing to me?”

Ning Fengzhi: “Tang Chen, I won't kill you out of respect for Tang Xiao. Take your child and get out!”

That day, Tang Chen personally killed the maid and the child she claimed was his.

The System descends, granting him Twin Martial Souls: the World-Destroying Black Dragon in his left hand and the Human Emperor Banner in his right.

Tang Chen: “Tang Xiao, Ning Rongrong... If this world has no place for me, then I'll overturn it with my own hands.

“I'll make sure that no one in this world, whether a Douluo or a god or demon in the heavens, ever dares defy me again!”

Years later...

Tang San: “Cousin, it's me, San! Give Xiao Wu back!”

Zhu Zhuqing: “With me here, who dares lay a finger on the Demon Venerable's body?”

Qian Renxue: “Tang Chen, I don't want to become the Angel God anymore. I just want to follow you.”

Looking at the ruined Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, Ning Rongrong descends into madness.

“I was wrong, Brother Tang Chen. I'll let you do whatever you want to me. Please forgive me, all right?”
