A Summer Romance Gone Off Track

[Youthful campus romance × pure love × bittersweet with a touch of sweetness × unrequited love × light comedy × bickering couple] [Cool, straight-laced Nian Shiyi × sweet and sassy Wen Yang × carefree Lin Qizhi] They say a secret crush is one person's private war, a piece of candy past its expiration date, sweet one moment and bitter the next. Wen Yang falls for Nian Shiyi, who's cold to everyone. She chases after the light, never noticing Lin Qizhi, who's always by her side and dotes on her above all others. “Yangyang! Who said you were fat? You're so full of energy!” “Who says girls can't be carefree? I want you to face the sun and live however you please.” “Being thrifty is a good thing, Yangyang. I'm going to follow your example!” That's right. Lin Qizhi is always being a clown and hanging around her. Until... Nian Shiyi turns her down, and her secret crush becomes an open declaration of love. The carefree Lin Qizhi suddenly seems like a different person, becoming a gentle puppy who wags his tail only for her. * Seven years later “Yangyang, they say seven years is the perfect amount of time to forget someone. Your blood and cells have all been renewed. Should I say you're devoted, or that you simply refuse to love me?” Wen Yang looks at the once-glamorous Lin Qizhi, his handsome face covered in stubble, and replies, “It must be exhausting to love me, right? You said seven years was enough to forget someone. So why... after seven years, have you still not forgotten me?” Then, at their wedding... “I will defy my nature, go against my instincts, and love you forever.” Lin Qizhi drops to one knee and offers Wen Yang a bouquet, giving her the very best of everything. On their wedding bed, Wen Yang asks him, “Do you regret it? Or have you ever blamed me?” Lin Qizhi curls his lips into a wicked smile and tugs at the hem of his shirt, stripping it off with ease. “Want to know? You'll find out in a minute...”
