A Certain Someone: Sign-In from the Start

Lacking talent, Lang Hongchen could never become an Otherworlder. He grew accustomed to an ordinary life and found a job as a forest ranger. Who could have expected it? In his second month on the job, something major happened while he was out on patrol: a grave in the cemetery behind the mountain had been robbed by tomb raiders. He couldn’t let that slide. He had to defend his job. Call the police. He absolutely had to call the police. When the police arrived, he went over with them to take a look. The grave was empty, with only a tombstone left. It read: “Tomb of Zhang Xilin.” That wasn’t the important part. The important thing was that this grave had brought out his golden finger. When the organization known as Nadutong first entered his life, he’d wanted to join the world of Otherworlders. But reality was cruel. He had no talent, and neither Mount Longhu nor Wudang would take him. This was just a job he’d picked at random, yet by sheer coincidence he’d stumbled upon Zhang Xilin’s grave. And now his golden finger had appeared too. What a surprise, and what a delight. [Sign-In Check-In System at your service. Newbie gift pack delivered. Heaven-Defying Fortune Pill automatically used. They got to know each other through a fight, and Feng Baobao took a liking to his knife. Note: Let’s keep the discussion civil. Agree to disagree, and please use polite language.
