Football: Reborn with Pogba's Template

The once-leg-breaking prodigy became the most extraordinary player in the eyes of every head coach and fan.

“He can score an incredible outside-of-the-foot curler in a Champions League final.”

“Right, and he can also slip during a free-kick routine and somehow score anyway.”

“You think he messed up?”

“No, that was the plan.”

…

“He can sprint half the length of the pitch and score a solo goal one-on-one.”

“Exactly, and he can also choose to control a teammate’s pass with his back, then put the ball in the net.”

“You think he messed up?”

“Well, we usually call that a stroke of genius!”

Remembering He Ming’s many antics, the head coach could only marvel.

“Yes, I hope he spontaneously combusts the moment he retires.”

“But I hope he never retires. Otherwise, how am I supposed to win more trophies with him?”

…

If you saw that Champions League season, if you witnessed that world-famous final, that epic miracle, and the perfect score awarded by a million people after the match, then you’d understand why every coach and fan called He Ming the greatest oddball in the world.

As Paul Pogba once put it: “In today’s football, I’m the boss, He Ming is number one, and I’m number two. As for who’s third...”

“Who cares!”
