Game of Thrones: The Spring of King's Landing

[House of the Dragon, Dance of the Dragons]

After transmigrating, Garwin Hightower became the son of Otto Hightower.

In 106 AC, his sister Alicent became queen, and Garwin was appointed commander of the City Watch.

Otto had meant to plant a spy in the City Watch, which was deeply influenced by Daemon. He never imagined he would instead plant a towering tree that would break free of the soil and grow beyond anyone’s control!

After one day in office, Garwin raised his brothers’ meal allowance to 150 copper pennies!

After one month in office, Garwin doubled his brothers’ wages!

After one year in office, Garwin was promoted to second-in-command, and that very day he gave his brothers an extra ten months’ pay!

From then on, the City Watch knew only Garwin Hightower, not the king!

When the Dance of the Dragons broke out,

Garwin said to his brothers in the City Watch,

“Glory is not mine alone. Everything we do is for the people of the kingdom, is it not?”
