The crown prince of the Celestial Clan secretly descended to the mortal realm and married a mortal woman cultivating immortality. But for the sake of a wild chicken demon, she dug out the crown prince’s spiritual root, then deceived him by promising they would be together for all eternity. To frame the crown prince, the chicken demon arranged for someone to seduce him, making his wife believe he was secretly consorting with the demon race. Without bothering to investigate, she had him thrown in prison. Fortunately, the Celestial Princess discovered what had happened and rescued him. Only then did the wife realize it had all been the chicken demon’s scheme. In her fury, she beat the demon to death and gave the crown prince her own spiritual root, but he still did not forgive her.
