Tokyo: A Heart-Pounding Challenge That Begins with My Female Boss

Born and raised in Tokyo, Kiriyama Toru has just become the secretary to a strong-willed department head when he suddenly awakens the Heart-Pounding Challenge System.

[Notice: This System adheres to the basic principle that you can't lose if you don't fall for someone. It will closely monitor your heart rate and your target's during dates, then calculate your rewards at the end of each date based on whose heart rate was higher.]

A date? What date?!

I'm just accompanying my boss to meet a client!

The System had arrived late, but caught him completely off guard. Kiriyama Toru suffered a crushing defeat, leaving his female superior deeply disappointed in him.

But after that ordeal, he understood how to use the System properly.

His cold female boss gradually melts, the gentle married woman next door grows more and more infatuated, and the sweet-talking schemer and the feisty gal start falling for him recklessly.

“As a young tycoon who built his fortune from scratch, what advice would you share with other young people?”

Years later, at the peak of his life, Kiriyama Toru answered in an interview while on vacation: “Whether it's business or romance, there's one truth you must always remember.”

“Whoever falls first, loses.”
