People seal their emotions into crystals called "memory amber", and ghostwriters, a group of special professionals who walk on the boundary between machinery and humanity, are responsible for recasting cold data into warm words. Qianyu woke up from the ruins of Tsukimi Train Station, her left hand turned into a mechanical prosthesis engraved with codes, and she held a blank amber box in her arms. She took up residence in the repair shop of veteran Uncle Zhong and discovered that she could read other people's memories: the moment she touched the memory amber, fragments of the past flowed into her consciousness like a swarm of butterflies. From ghostwriting battlefield love letters for a one-eyed lieutenant to encapsulating music box memories for an autistic boy, she glimpsed clues of her own life experience in the cracks in other people's lives - the M07 tattoo on the back of her neck, the Green Iris Laboratory that appeared repeatedly in flashbacks, and the phantom of a girl who always held flowers and smiled deep in her memory. Traveling through the maze of steampunk memories, Qianyu held the pen with his robotic hand. She wants to write a growth diary for the sunflower in the shell, write the final chapter for the burned love letter, and tie the apology letter to the anklet of the peace dove - every ghostwriting is a gentle resistance to the darkness of memory. When the bronze door at the end of the memory corridor opened, she finally understood: the most touching stories are not in amber, but in the eyes of those who know that their memories are false but still choose to love.
