I Take the High Road

I see the ebb and flow of the tide. I saw romance. I saw heart-rending wails in the vast distance. I saw the paltry redemption in the long night. I saw the man singing the sad song concealing the madness beneath the song. I saw the desolation in the eyes of the singing and dancing beast. I watched them cycle blindly, over and over again.
