This is a short contemporary romance with a fantastical premise, written as a writing exercise! I was jealous that Black and White Impermanence could claim people’s lives, so I killed them and offended Yan Luo. He punished me by making me a psychopomp in the underworld: within 30 days, I had to send the greatest evildoer to the Eighteenth Level of Hell. Otherwise, on the thirtieth day, I would be the one sent to Hell. But the love and hatred of the human world are even more unpredictable than Hell. Gu Yiling kept saying he loved me, yet he personally drove a knife into my chest and used my heart’s blood to keep his ex-girlfriend alive! He tormented me in every way. But was that so-called white moonlight really worthy of his trust? At a concert, a man who claimed to be my husband appeared. He said he had been looking for me for a year, but I had no memory of him at all. When the truth came to light, despair flooded over me. I closed my eyes and made my choice with the last of my strength. After I died, I saw him weeping and repenting.
