I Just Want to Serve My Employees

[Everyday office life + lighthearted humor + workplace “sci-fi” + episodic stories + ensemble cast] Employee A: “Mr. Lu, please, let me work overtime! I feel guilty if I don’t!” Lu Chen frowned helplessly. “Absolutely not! This bad workplace habit of secretly working overtime must be corrected as soon as possible!” Employee B: “Then, Mr. Lu, at least charge me some rent! The free three-bedroom, two-living-room dorm is just too big!” Lu Chen shook his head in exasperation. “One room for the cat, one for the dog, and one for you. Doesn’t that work perfectly?” Employee C: “Mr. Lu! At least accept tuition for the private school the company built for its employees!” Lu Chen refused sternly. “What kind of thing is that to say? How can education be treated like a business?” “Mr. Lu, then how about lowering our wages a little?…” “Mr. Lu…” Afterward, Lu Chen looked at his employees, all kneeling before him and refusing to get up, and rubbed his forehead helplessly. How could these people not know how to enjoy the good life? He just wanted to serve his employees a little too much. What could possibly be wrong with that?
