A Village Guardian? I Guard the Gates of Fengdu!

After transmigrating to a parallel spacetime, Lu Ze began with maxed-out Taoist arts, yet found himself trapped in a mountain inn, forced to guard the place for decades.

But when the nationally popular livestream show Come Be Our Guest set up at the small mountain village guarded by Lu Ze, it shattered his peaceful and boring life.

On the very first day, Teacher Huang, a permanent guest on the show, barged into the inn guarded by Lu Ze out of curiosity.

When a sudden chill swept through the place, the door slammed shut on its own and could not be opened, and a hair-raising eerie laugh rang out from the darkness, Teacher Huang was nearly scared unconscious.

Village Chief: "The inn on the mountain behind the village... The living must not go there!"

Teacher Huang: "Why didn't you say so earlier? We've already been inside."

Having remembered his humiliating ordeal, Teacher Huang hurriedly added something to salvage a little of his dignity.

"Still, there didn't seem to be anything particularly special inside. There was just a young man guarding the village."

When the village chief and the other villagers heard this, their eyes widened in shock... You call him a village guardian?
