After I Left My Rich Heir Girlfriend, She Desperately Came Looking for Me

My girlfriend’s guy best friend dug a small trap in the sand on the beach. He covered it with sand and buried iron spikes underneath. I stepped right on it, destroying my dream of becoming a track athlete. When I angrily confronted them, my girlfriend shielded her guy best friend. “What proof do you have that he dug it?” “Even if he did, you only got a little hurt. Do you really need to act like this?” “Besides, you wouldn’t make much money from that lousy track career anyway.” I was utterly disappointed, and we had a huge fight. After breaking up, I left the city and returned to my hometown to become a track coach. I never expected my girlfriend, who had been spoiled since childhood, to search for me for years and eventually come to my hometown.
