After I Released My New Single, the Genius Musician Who Plagiarized Me Fell to His Knees

As soon as I released my new single, people accused me of plagiarizing an original song by a new artist at my company. Apart from the release date, the two songs were identical. I begged my girlfriend, who was also my manager, to help clear my name. Instead, at a press conference, she confirmed that I had plagiarized. She claimed that the new artist had ghostwritten all my previous original songs, and that my reputation as a musical genius was just a persona I’d cultivated. The newcomer became an overnight sensation, while I became public enemy number one. The company fired me and demanded a staggering penalty for breach of contract. My parents were also killed when extreme fans ran them over for speaking up in my defense. Devastated, I jumped to my death. When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day the newcomer plagiarized my song. You like copying, huh? I’ll open up the Tang poems and Song lyrics and give you all you could ever copy.
