Five Years After Her Death, She Woke Up in the Dragon Bed

Lou Suyi and her elder half-sister were kidnapped at the same time. Xie Zhijie rescued her sister and abandoned her, leaving her to die a terrible death.

Five years after her death, she miraculously awoke on the imperial bed.

That year, Xie Zhijie had become the emperor’s favored minister and married her sister. The couple lived in harmony.

Meanwhile, the matriarch of the Lou family took Lou Suyi for an evil spirit and sent her to a temple to live in seclusion.

When they met again, Xie Zhijie said he wanted to make amends, then forced her to become his concubine.

She chose to shave her head and become a nun. But even after she had become one, Xie Zhijie still tried to take her by force.

Just then, a sedan chair arrived from the palace, and she was carried into the imperial harem.

She thought she had been summoned to the palace to ward off evil. But just five days after arriving, the cold and celibate emperor took her to his bed.

From then on, she and the emperor carried on together, spending every day terrified that someone would discover their affair, until her belly began to swell…

Later, Grand Secretary Xie knelt at her feet. “This subject humbly wishes Your Majesty the Empress peace and well-being!”

Lou Suyi had this to say: I only wanted to avoid becoming a concubine, but somehow ended up as empress.
