School Was Delayed by the Typhoon, and a Classmate Pretended to Be Me in the Group Chat

Because the start of term was delayed by a typhoon, our counselor asked everyone to share their location. Someone in the class group chat posted a pin right at the location of my family’s villa. Trapped at a hotel, I could only type a question mark. Wasn’t that my home? But the classmate immediately posted a video from inside my villa, along with footage of the many sports cars parked outside it. Then they mocked me in return. “I can understand if some country bumpkin classmates have never seen a mansion like this, but why are you so vain that you have to pretend it’s yours?” I called my parents. “Mom, Dad, has someone broken into our house?”
