After My Best Friend and I Leapt From the Immortal-Slaying Platform, the Empress and the Female War God Went Mad With Regret

My best friend and I were both transported into a xianxia novel. I had to win the heart of the Heavenly Emperor’s daughter, while he had to win over the Goddess of War. We thought we were about to complete our missions and return to our original world, but then the woman they had always loved came back, and our progress was reset to zero overnight. The two women, who had promised to love only my friend and me for the rest of their lives, now wanted to sacrifice us for their true love. In utter despair, my best friend jumped from the Immortal Execution Platform right in front of the Goddess of War. The wind howled across the platform, leaving behind only a torn sleeve. I looked at my wife, the lofty Empress of the Heavenly Realm, my heart cold with despair. “You want my heart, don’t you? Then take it.” With that, I drove my sword into my chest and tore out my own heart. In an instant, I turned to smoke and dust. Behind me, the woman’s eyes widened in anguish as her heart broke.
