On the Eve of the Fall of the Country, Handan Captured the King

Before the Qin army entered Handan, Zhao State was already on the verge of destruction. It was King Qian of Zhao who decided to surrender to Kaicheng, while Guo Kai collaborated with others inside and outside to betray the country. The monarch and his ministers only wanted their own safety and wealth, ignoring the people of the city and the Zhao family, and only wanted to enjoy the rest of their lives after dedicating the city. Before the fall of the country, a group of patriots who did not want to sit back and watch the destruction of their country decided to commit a treasonous act: They worked together to capture King Zhao and intercept the imperial edict. Everyone knew that the isolated city of Handan could not be defended for a long time, so they joined forces to control the palace gates, eliminate the traitors, gather the remaining soldiers, and fight for a way north for the Zhao clan and the survivors in the city to survive.
