On Our Wedding Anniversary, My Wife Bought a Yacht for Her Male Assistant

On our third wedding anniversary, my wife’s male assistant bragged on social media about a receipt for a yacht. “A one-of-a-kind gift from the boss! Here’s to sailing around the world together for the rest of our lives!” When I saw my wife’s name listed as the payer, I video-called her to get an explanation. She answered with the assistant’s face pressed close to hers as they enjoyed the sea breeze aboard the yacht. “Chao, don’t get the wrong idea. The boss is just looking after her employee!” the assistant explained. My wife, meanwhile, launched into a tirade. “Liang Chao, what are you jealous about?” “He did a good job, so I rewarded him with a yacht. What’s wrong with that?” “You should know I own this company. You have no right to control me!” I calmly replied, “Fine. I won’t try to control you anymore. Go have fun with whoever you want!”
