Bright Sword: Assigned to the Uniform Factory, and You’re Selling Sewing Machines?

After disobeying orders in the Battle of Cangyun Ridge, Li Yunlong was stripped of his position as regiment commander and sent down to run a uniform factory.

With the deadline for delivering the uniforms fast approaching, Li Yunlong decided to fall back on his old ways: start a side business.

With no capital to get started, Li Yunlong actually sold the factory's sewing machines.

Li Yunlong was sent off to raise horses next.

Seeing that the horses were weak and sickly and might not make it to the New Year, Li Yunlong decided to start another side business.

No capital? No problem. Let's sell the horses first.

Li Yunlong was sent to the arms factory next. Its output was too slow, and the products were poor quality, so Li Yunlong decided to start another side business.

No capital? Same as always: sell off the factory equipment first.

By the time the uniform factory was producing uniforms several times faster, the horses had grown strong in great numbers, and the arms factory had become fully mechanized,

everyone was laughing: "We were wrong about Li Yunlong. This guy really is a jack of all trades!"
